We are an Air Relief pleated air filter dealer.
Our filters are available in 1 inch, 2 inch, and 4 inch thicknesses. We offer a wide variety of standard and custom sized filters. If you would like a quote on a custom size filter, please contact us today. Our filters are constructed of a double wall frame to ensure they will never break down – even in high velocity commercial systems. 11 pleats per foot at MERV 8, great efficiency, will not bog down the system and over-filter the system by restricting the air-flow. UL Listed Class II. 1 inch and 2 inch filters come in a case of 12, 4 inch filters come in a case of 6.

How many filters come in a case?
1 inch and 2 inch filters will come in a case of 12.
4 inch filters will come in a case of 6.

Can I order filters online and pick up at a local storefront?
In order to keep our costs down on operations, we do not currently have a store front for retail sales or local pickup.

How long does it take for my filters to arrive?
Most standard size filters will ship within 24-48 hours of the time of sale, however, in some cases an order may be delayed an additional day or two if the manufacturer is completely out of stock of your requested product. (This is a rare occasion)
Custom size filters will have an average of three to five business days to be manufactured before the product can be shipped.
Our manufacturer is located here, locally in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. This allows for fast delivery of your product once it is shipped.

I do not see fiberglass throwaway filters on your site. Why doesn’t ntxfilters.com carry these filters?
When creating this Web Site, we felt it was best to sell a quality product that we would be proud to sell to the public.  Even though fiberglass filters do filter some elements in the air stream of your system, they do not provide the quality of filtration that you would get when using a pleated air filter. As well, we would simply never sell a product that we would never use in our business or personal home.

How often should I replace my filter?
This is a great question!

Our recommendations for changing filters:
1" thick filters = every 30-60 days
2" thick filters = every 2-3 months
4" thick filters = every 3-4 months

Some variables can extend or decrease the life of an air filter.
1" thick filters should be checked in 30 days from the day it was installed to determine if it needs to be replaced. Depending on system usage, these filters can last 1 to 3 months during times of light usage or other conditions.
2" thick filters can last 2 to 4 months, depending on system usage.
4" thick filters can last anywhere from 3 to 6 months.

Common variables of usage include peak seasons like summer or winter where your heating or air conditioning system is working a majority of the time to maintain a comfortable temperature in your home or office. These seasons may cause the air handler in your system to operate for longer periods of time, allowing more air to be processed through your filter, requiring the filter to need changing more frequently.

In some cases when the system is ran less, the filter may last a little longer than average from the air not passing through it as much in comparison to other seasons. However, we will always strongly suggest that you check your filter often during these times to determine if it needs to be replaced.

Other variables in the life of a filter depends on pet dander, traffic of people going in and out of the house, and area conditions like dust in the general area of your home or business, along with many other variables. All of these factors need to be considered when deciding how often your filter needs to be replaced.

I  would  like  to  upgrade  to  a  4  inch  filter  in  my  system.  Is  this  possible?
In  many  cases  the  answer  to  this  question  is  YES! Click here to find out how.

It is strongly suggested to check your air filter in accordance with our recommendations to determine if your filter needs to be changed. Not changing your air filter on a regular basis or allowing it to stay in the system too long can greatly decrease the efficiency of your heating and air conditioning system and could cause it to fail under certain conditions.
Never place two filters in your system! This will cause the airstream to be over restricted and could cause your system to fail.  There is no benefit in placing more than one filter in your system. It will not offer more filtration or increase the MERV rating in any way.

Never Place 2 Filter in your system
